Centrifugal Blower Fan
My attempt at a centrifugal blower fan, as opposed to my previous attempt at a centrifugal compressor fan. I did not get a chance to test this yet, however I have printed it and can provide information on printer settings.
Supports: Yes, on the impeller, tree supports recommended Layer height: 0.2mm Max print speed: 300 mm/s Material: PLA or PETG, depending on how big you plan to print this
Assembly: The impeller was designed to fit on a 2mm brushless motor shaft, however my tolerances are bad and you may be able to fit this on a 1mm hobby motor like the last one with some super glue or hot glue. Insert the motor shaft through the hole in the housing, fit the impeller onto the shaft and fix it with some hot or super glue, and put the top in place and use super glue to fix and seal it in place. Then, to keep the motor in place, attach it to the motor mount with 2mm screws (they should have come with the motor itself) and glue the mount to the back of the housing.
The motor intended for use is an A2212 1500KV brushless DC motor however the impeller can be modified to fit the shaft of a normal 1mm hobby motor.
I have not been able to find the flow rate because I don't have the tool to do so. If any of you have a handheld anemometer, I'd love to know what it is!
