Butter-Fly Flippers are great butterfly toys for kids and fun.  They are great pranks for kids as well! Put inside a book or box.  When it opens they start flapping around.   They are a very fast print, very thin.  You will need a rubber band and I personally suggest using a paper clip or if you have it, piano wire to make a hook to put the rubber band in.  You want a thicker smaller rubber band with a lot of strength to store more energy for the flipping.  They are a ton of fun.

Most conventional rubberbands work great.  Hair tie ones break too easy.

Tabletop Cornhole Game! Print in Place

Celebrate the 4th with these great bottle rocket decorations.  Each one comes in 3 pieces easy to print and assemble with super glue.  You will need 1 bamboo skewer to act as the stick.  Most dollar stores sell long "marshmallow" sticks that work best.  

Simply print without infill and supports.  I suggest 3 or 4 walls for the best looking nosecone.

This is my fourth and final entry for the Thangs Workspace Design Challenge.

This is my modification of ProdoctDesignOnline's [Sliding Dovetail Lid Box](https://thangs.com/designer/productdesignonline/3d-model/Sliding%2520Dovetail%2520Lid%2520Box.stl-6957) . Seeing as how the theme for this contest is "Outdoor Fun" I think mini cornhole is super appropriate 😄.

The dovetail lid makes for a perfect storage case. I glued some magnets from the inside to keep the two part together while in transit and used some erasers as the beanbags.

Both the base and the lid can be printed without support.

Thames Dolphin lamp standard’s history goes back to the 19th century. We scanned one of the creatures by taking as many pictures as we could from all possible angles. As we couldn’t cover all the angles, we’ve done some fixing in Autodesk ReMake and sculpting in Meshmixer. It printed very well and it didn’t need many supports. After a huge amount of time spent patching and fixing, we have a lovely replica of the Dolphin Standard.

I used to have a toy called a skip disc but it eventually fell apart, so I designed my own version, the Skipbee.  It is kind of like an upside down frisbee.  Print flat side down in TPU or some other flexible with only 2 perimeters so that it is reasonably soft and nobody gets klunked in the head or at least when they do it doesn't hurt too much.  Lots of good fun.
