HOW TO SUPPORT

Just add a thick line of light supports around the bottom of the roller, connecting to your raft of choice. It’s that easy.


WHY BUY MY ROLLERS?

My goal is to use as little resin as possible in my texture rollers. My design displaces a cylinder’s mesh on the outside and inside (inside displacement is reversed) to use as little unneeded resin as possible. My rollers are so thin that only around 15.5 milliliters are used, letting you save precious and overpriced resin.

You can also see the texture you’ll be rolling on the inside of the cylinder, letting you easily find the right roller in your collection.

Let me know if the roller breaks on you. I use elegoo space grey 8k resin, which has been holding up fine with my test prints but might be less sturdy with your resin of choice. Leave a comment and I will upload a thicker version to this creation.



3D Printer settings:

115 millimeters tall, 15.5 milliliters of resin used on average.

Print with supports! I use light supports and they come out fine. Please view the link in the description for an example of support placement. It’s incredibly easy.

SubieGang Keychain

This model is a SubieGang key ring / key chain!

This keyring is 6.5cm wide, 2.9cm tall and is 6mm thick.

Keychains are designed with a 'channel' to allow for a 2.4mm (or smaller) ball chain to be looped through. Ball chain is available very cheap online in a variety of colours - we suggest cutting the ball chain to a length of approximately 15cm.

Keep your drinks cool and your hands cozy with this stylish Cool Can Coozie! Great for identifying drinks at a party, and eliminates the need for coasters! Scale to whatever size to make fun containers as well.

The STL models are solid, designed to be printed in vase mode extruded with a 1mm extrusion width (works with a 0.4 mm nozzle or higher) and no top layers.

The fit is extremely precise so the can floats down. It's super satisfying!

...that said, some cans with paper labels become a tight fit, so you may want to scale up the model a fraction of a percentage (100.25% or so) for more compatibility. The fit will also depend a lot on your 3D printers accuracy and the actual extrusion width.
