Tripod Ground Spike

This is a tripod ground spike you can use to place a camera in the ground anywhere.  You'll need 1 brass insert for each spike

and you'll also need a 1/4" adapter to your camera like https://amzn.to/394nvFL . 

Simply print the part, then use a soldering iron to SLOWLY insert the brass insert.  Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.  Don't touch it at all while cooling. 

Once cool you can mount any camera, webcam or other device that uses a 1/4-20 thread.  

What do I use a tripod ground spike for?
- attach a trail cam, for ground level action
- attach a gopro and capture video of your golf swing, hitting the ball, etc.
- Great for small cameras at kids baseball games, etc. 
- Hold the camera in the sand on the beach

These spikes will cost you around $20 on amazon but the 3D print at 100% infill is only 39g and very strong.

I print face down. MAKE SURE YOUR FIRST LAYER IS DIALED IN. supports only on the two holes. might need a wide brim or Lilly pads.

Anycubic Kobra Max Camera Mount

This is a camera mount for the Anycubic Kobra Max that mounts on the left side of the Z gantry.

It replaces the blue plastic cover which covers the Y stepper motor pulley and belt.

It provides M2 screw holes for mounting, and a 1/4" hole for a standard 1/4x20 thread to attach your webcam.

I have tested it with the Logitech Brio and Wyze Cam.

To use it, you'll need to run a USB cable down the wiring loom.  In my case, I attached the USB cable to the loom using small zip ties.

The angle of the camera is fixed, which may not be desirable.  If you would like to modify the file, the Tinkercad link is here:

When placed flat, you should be able to print it without supports.  I recommend standard 0.15mm layer hieght.  PLA is fine as this part will not experience heat.
