Spiral Cube 3D PI Awards Trophy 2023

Spiral Cube Trophy is a 3D printable model that lets you create your own unique and elegant trophy for the 3D Printing Industry Awards. It is a trophy that combines geometric shapes and curves to create a stunning visual effect. The trophy has a base with the year “2023” written on it, which is a rotated gear shape that supports the rest of the trophy. It has a stem that connects the base to the top part of the trophy, which is a thin, elongated shape that has a curved profile. The top part of the trophy is a circular shape with a cube in the center, which is suspended using strings. The cube represents a calibration cube with a top hex textured surface and with the text 3D PI that represents the logo of the awards. The top part is composed of multiple layers that create a spiral effect, which gives the trophy a dynamic and sophisticated look.

Spiral Cube Trophy is a 3D printable model that you can download and print with any 3D printer and filament. It is intended for SLS printing, and it follows the specifications and guidelines of the 3D Printing Industry Awards Trophy Design Contest. 

It is designed to print in monochrome black, but you can also use other colors to achieve different effects. You can also scale it up or down to fit your preference.

#3DPIAwards 2023 Material Trophy

This is my entry for the #3DPIAwards
I was inspired by what every 3D printing nerds loves, the print material! I modeled my award with a spool of filament, pile of powder, and a pool of resin on a pedestal.

I made the model in Blender
I tested the model in cura 5.4.0 to make sure it will slice properly

Creality K1 Max Spool Holder

Based on Fred Boisselier design:

I added bigger and deeper screw holes and a mount for PTFE. You'll need one M3 0.5 x 12 and one M3 0.5 x 16 screw. Plus a longer section of PTFE for my design.

Filament-Cutter-Base-Module V4

This is another attempt for a Filament-Cutter Base module without servo. A bit more refined than my previous model.
For this gadget to work, you'll also need the Push-Pin mounted somewhere on the 3D-Printer frame at the right position. Unfortunately, there's no "one-size-fits-all" solution to this. The shown Push-Pin will fit on a Creality CR-10 Smart gantry without modification though.

Simple filament adapter for bambu AMS.  This is for filament produced by https://polarfilament.com/ which IMHO is decent inexpensive filament.  The cardboard rolls of course don't fit in the AMS.  With this adapter they will.  They have a REALLY nice selection of UV filaments there which is how I found out about them.  I have no affiliation.
