Gridfinity MicroSD holder

I saw a few other micro SD holders for Gridfinity, but wanted to maximize capacity and reduce material used to print, so here's my take.

MINI PLANETARY EGG v2

**Mini Planetary Egg Container v2**

This egg shaped container prints-in-place and uses a planetary gear stage on the bottom which allows it to open 4 times faster than its turned. 

This is the updated version of the mini egg container I made last year. That version was hard to print and the teeth skipped easy since it was a scaled down version of the larger [Planetary Egg Container]( https://social.thangs.com/m/53994). I redrew this version at a smaller scale with less teeth and I increased clearances so it would be easier to print.  It is easier to print then the previous version but I did still have to tweak some settings for best results but now I get a successful print every time. They only weigh 25g each, so I'm making a bunch to give away.  If you have issues with this scale the original egg is still easier to print. 

Prints in place with no supports. I printed it with a .4mm nozzle at .2mm layer heights but a smaller nozzle would make it easier to print.  Make sure your first layer height is perfect. You may have to adjust retraction settings as a result of short extruder movements.

Mum Heart Tree

Mum Heart Tree 

This is a model that uses organic or tree supports to create the heart's tree.

The settings mean that the supports are securely attached and become part of the model.

Set supports to 'organic' or 'tree'.
Set your support z distance to zero.
Set supports to 'touching buildplate'
Add a raft at least 2 layers thick.

OPTIONAL: Try playing with the branch and threshold angles and branch and tip diameter to change the look of the tree.

Pi-thon

Wanna be the cool kid at this year’s “Pi Day” festivities? This print-in-place articulating “Pi-thon” is embossed with the first 25 digits of pi. 

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (3/14 in the month/day format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π.
