Teardrop Pod Plain

This Teardrop Pod can be used to hang plants, moss, or any other small object. 
This version is designed for FDM printing. There are three similar versions that feature delicate lattice structures and are designed for resin printing.

Chain Link Gridfinity Bin 100mm

This single unit “chain link” bin is compatible with the Gridfinity modular storage system designed by Zack Freedman: https://thangs.com/?category=Gridfinity#content . It is part of a set of four sizes with inside heights of approximately 40mm, 60mm, 80mm and 100mm

Prints without supports. Holes to insert 6mmx3mm (1/4” x 1/8”) cylindrical neodymium magnets on the bottom to use with magnetized Gridfinity baseplates.

Christmas Tree

This is an easy-to-print, modern Christmas tree. Looks really well as a winter decoration. It can be printed in vase mode as well as standard mode.

**Recommended print settings**

- vase mode: yes
- bottom solid layers: 7
- extrusion width: 1 mm

Printing it with 1 mm extrusion width makes it solid enough.

This model prints nicely with fuzzy skin feature on it. It adds additional strength and hardiness to the walls.

When printing in standard mode, seam position should be set to aligned.

The tip of the tree should be printed slowly to avoid unwanted deformations.

Ghost Pop Beads

These “Ghost Pop Beads” snap together to form spooky chains or rings as long as you want! Use for decoration or to accessorize your costume.

The pieces are designed to be printed in “Vase” or “Spiralized” mode. The file is optimized for printing with a 0.4mm nozzle. Printing with different nozzle sizes is still possible but will affect the tightness of fit.

Each piece uses approximately 0.4g of material, making this a great design to use up the scraps of filament you have lying around! A full 1kg roll could print approximately 2500 beads, enough to make a chain 50m (164ft) long!

To connect pieces together, simply pinch the bottom end of one piece to open it up. Insert the oval end of the second piece inside and release. The pieces remain connected but can be separated again if needed. Create long chains or rings by adding as many pieces as you want.

Each piece takes approximately 5 minutes to print. It is, however, much more efficient to print multiple pieces sequentially! Setting up spiralized models to print “one at a time” takes a bit of planning as the pieces must be spaced and sequenced properly so that the hot end or gantry does not collide with the finished prints as it moves on to the next print. 

Make the bottom open by setting “bottom layers” to zero. Good build plate adhesion is essential, so ensure that your machine is well calibrated.

A mix between a DIC and a [https://thangs.com/designer/theethetree/3d-model/Hextraction%20-%20Strange%20simple%20tiles-878941](V Tile). If you orient it up then the sides are like on the DIC and the middle path randomizes between them. Any other orientation and it's mostly gonna funnel stuff, so yay for versatility.

Inspired by [cswenson's Latch Tile](https://thangs.com/designer/cswenson/3d-model/Hextraction%20Latch%20Tile-909909) but without the latch (though I redid the geometry with Zack Freedman's templates).
