The Layer Smith is a Mini Wargaming Terrain & Scenery Designer

We’re a small team creating detailed, textured 3D printable designs — from bold bookmarks and page holders to modular display systems and decorative storage.

Our work focuses on models that not only look good, but also feel good in the hand, using raised surfaces and layered contrasts that bring every piece to life.

We post a mix of artistic, functional, and book-themed models, often optimized for HueForge and single-extruder color swaps (no AMS required). We're constantly exploring new ideas and love taking on custom projects — whether it's a favorite character, pet, or a special theme.

Hello! My name's Alexis and I got into the 3d printing scene in early 2024. I learned the basics of modeling a while back for fun but didn't have any real reasons for learning/doing 3d at the time so I lost interest. I recently realized that 3d printing is a really fun way to bring my 3d models to life so I decided to get back into it as much as possible and share my models with the community.

I don't have an actual ''style'' for now but I'm sure I'll find a way to stand out eventually and make unique models as I get more practice. I dream of creating products and items that will be used and enjoyed by people around the world. I will be forever grateful for anyone that support that dream of mine in any way!
