Custom-designed prototype retaining clip for Porsche 987 Boxster / Cayman and 996 air oil separator breather pipe connections.
Modelled for testing fitment, tolerances and potential replacement of brittle OEM plastic clips commonly found on aging Porsche breather systems.
Designed and printed on a FlashForge Finder as part of an ongoing restoration and reverse-engineering project.
This is an experimental prototype and may require material upgrades such as PA66 nylon or carbon-reinforced filament for long-term engine bay use.
