3D printed textile / paneled storage or gift boxes
This file is packed with all sorts of customizable techniques that you can use to create your very own textile, or solid paneled cube. With every print, you will need 1 base, 1 top, and 4 side panels. These can also be scaled up or down, just verify that all of the parts are scaled proportionately for fit.
There are different versions to take note of -
- A stained glass like effect of the dragon con textile, both small and large formats are premade and painted in a 3mf.
- A solid paneled version where bottom layer patterns can be taken advantage of especially when using multi color filament (octogram spiral is my favorite)
- A dragon con textile version that has negative modifiers already in place
- A square grid patterned textile version ready to print in 3mf form
- A 3mf version that is ready to have a base textile loaded in and paired with negative modifiers.
There are different PDF guides included with this model that will help guide you with negative modifiers, SVG and STL modifiers, as well as general printing on fabric tips.
Please keep in mind that these panels can be swapped out as you choose - You can create a cube with open sides, textile sides, closed sides, or a combination of. Pair up an SVG or STL modifier to further customize your 3D printed cube. There are two tops that you can choose from, one that is press fit for a more secure close, and one that sets on top without pressing into place.
