Although I am a huge fan of Woodpeckers tools, the same could not be said for this particular included Rack-It. Maybe due to the position I had it installed in, it was a bit fiddly to get in and out of and I felt the potential for scratching with prolonged use. Plus, it also required quite some free space to the right in order to place and retrieve the tool. So, I designed this holder instead: -Since it’s plastic, no risk of damaging your tool. -You practically don’t need to sacrifice any extra space: less than 1/4“ (6mm) is all you need at the top. And if whatever you have above it is flat, you don’t need to leave any. -Couldn’t be easier to place and remove the tool, yet it’s very secure once it’s in place. -Also includes a convenient spot to keep the included Allen wrench handy. -You will need two #6 flat head screws to install it. Once installed, they sit beneath the face of the holder, ensuring they cannot scratch the aluminum of the jaws.
