I designed this holder specifically for the DFM Small Carpenter Square. Since there are 2 versions of this tool (imperial and metric) plus 2 possible orientations: vertical to the left (VL) or vertical to the right (VR), I made 4 versions of the holder and you get all four in the download.

IMPORTANT NOTE I have the metric version of this tool, and its shoulders have different widths so the model accommodates for this: VL has a 6mm offset from the wall and VR a 9mm one. However, I do not have the imperial version, nor was I able to find the shoulder dimensions specified anywhere. All I have to go on is one photo from the side, that appears to show them of identical size and the fact that the total width is 3/4”. I also managed to get in touch with DFM directly and it appears that the blade is 3/16” wide. That would make the shoulders 9/32” each. So, those are the dimensions currently in both SAE versions (VL & VR). But, since I have not been able to test this myself, if this turns out to not be the case, please let me know and I will gladly modify the model accordingly. This is a new listing, so if you’re seeing this, it’s because no one has confirmed the fit just yet and I am anxiously awaiting feedback to confirm the dimensions.

A bit more detail: -No risk of scratching your tool. -Minimal footprint: very little additional space is needed to place and retrieve the square. -Very secure once it’s in place thanks to a precise fit. -Spot to keep the included pin handy.
