I've added the .stp files if you want to make some changes. The right bracket could be seen as "fragile" with the thin lip, in order to keep the right side on a 1x1 grid. I guess you could make it a 1x2 as well but even without the lip, the calipers would stay in place so.

Added the .stl files too. It might seem a bit difficult. Basically I have cut the part, then exported the "left" and "right" side as a .step. You can also print it on a 6x2 base, but I wanted to save as much material as possible.
