vented LILYGO TTGO case (for use w/ sensirion SCD-30 CO2 sensor)
used with the case-version (item 3) of this listing: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832862647579.html
This is a small press-fit case with vent holes for use with a LILYGO TTGO board and a SCD-30 CO₂ sensor (https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/sensirion-ag/SCD30/8445334). There's enough space that if you're kinda garbage at soldering like me (and you didn't leave very long leads), the SCD-30 breakout will just float on its leads and not be mashed against the back wall.
Designed in onshape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/70868793475a893c8af2eeb0/w/0adb8690504cc7c60cbcf2a3/e/59de9f7804fc2bc8c51aceaa
I'm using eMariette's "CO2 gadget" firmware and followed these (https://emariete.com/en/co2-meter-gadget/) instructions to upload it to my board.
I've included screenshots of the pinout used to get the SCD-30 talking to the board over I2C. I soldered four wires direct to the sensor board. This may not have been the best plan-- if I was to do it again, I'd solder a 1x4 piece of header to the sensor board. On the other end I have a 1x4 and 1x2 piece of female header (like this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251801591337957.html) to keep the wires in nice order. the 1x2 piece is slightly unnecessary but it has better retention than a single 1x1 piece of female header.
plz don't sell models of this thing or claim it as your own design. attribution is all I ask. <3
