This is a spacer for use in the Commercial Chef Food Dehydrator. The spacer will accomodate a standard 1kg spool. Use it by first placing down a standard tray that came with the dehydrator, put in your spool, stack on the spacer, and finally the lid (or another tray & spacer, then lid).
