"Stitches" the Articulated Teddy Bear

Stitches is inspired by some cute emo teddy bear artwork. I wanted stitches to be able to sit up, and also allow his arms to move and lay down at his sides. This proved to be a bit of a challenge, and I needed to remove a lot more material to allow them to articulate so much, but in the end, I succeeded. He sits in an upright pose, as long as his head isn't tilted backwards all the way, and his arms do a full swing down to his sides. Neat.

This is my first articulating model that also includes a separate head, attached by a ball joint! I would be careful about printing it too small or with too brittle of a filament, as it is designed to bend as you insert his body into his head. It's a SNUG fit, so his head isn't all bobble-head.

Included in the .3mf is a fully painted, a1 mini scaled body and head. The .STL head and body files are single object files, used for printing in single colors.

Stitches is divided into several parts, that can all be colored separately in the .3mf. Each eye, arm, leg, hand, foot, ear, and multiple stitches can be color changed, if you really want the patchwork bear style.

I recommend .16mm layer height, 3 walls and at least 10% infill, if not more to stiffen up the joints.

Let me know if you run into any issues printing this!

Hey, thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely see about adding that to future models I make if people want to glue them together. Appreciate the feedback!
