The Kasa Lamp ☂︎
The Kasa Lamp is drawn from the silhouette of a figure — with the wide-brimmed woven hat worn as the main element in the design. The lamp features a flared, pleated base that forms the body, a smooth spherical head that diffuses the light, and a wide pleated shade that reads as the hat crowning the whole figure. When assembled and lit, the shade casts a soft, warm glow outward — like a lantern held under a wide hat.
Printed in PLA, the model is designed to be modular and is assembled without any tools required :)
What's Included
3 modular components Base The flared, pleated body of the lamp. Feeds the lamp cord through the bottom and houses the friction collar at the top. Head The smooth spherical diffuser that sits over the bulb, softening the light. Connects to the base via a locking mechanism that keeps it aligned and secure. Hat (Shade) The wide pleated shade that crowns the figure. Sits over the top of the head, forming the silhouette. Friction Collar A friction-fit ring that seats inside the floor slab hole. The lamp socket is held up snugly in place without screws or fixings.
Assembly Order All pieces are assembled via connector joints (no glue, additional tools required!)
- Feed the lamp cord up through the bottom of the base.
- Insert the socket into the friction collar, then press the collar snugly into the top of the base.
- Screw in the E27 LED bulb.
- Slide the light diffuser inside the frame.
- Fit the head over the top of the base using the locking mechanism to secure it in place.
- Place the hat over the top of the head to complete the figure.
