love the dark base :) thank you hugh!
Could I get an .stl of the adapter for the US amazon one? thanks
Hi,
Please Download the Rocky Base Version of the Moon (https://than.gs/m/1288299) it has a larger opening at the bottom, for a US sized E26 adapter.
hi. having a hard time printing base. really bad finish. i bought it yesterday V3
sorry for the late reply, i didnt get any notification from thangs....
regarding the finish, which filament did you use? which printer did you use?
i found the base needs to be printed exceptionallly slow, due to the overhangs, otherwise they will not look good. i print it with 4-6mmΒ³/s
Hey love the designs. Thank you for giving us the option to get a commercial licence π any chance with the moon we can use the same light as like on the earth one?
Hi
thank you :)
find the moon with the smaller light here: https://thangs.com/designer/LeHa%20Design/3d-model/Moon%20Lamp%20150mm%20for%20LED%20Lamp%20001%20%5BHiRes%5D%20%5BnoSupports%5D-1184722
Christoph, If you want I can send you the 3MF files for Creality Print K2 Plus. Let me know.
Great design!!
Marcelo
Hi,
that'd be amazing, shoot me a mail hello@lehadesign.at
thanks!
WHy is the file 1.3 GB big, that seems really excessive. My PC ist struggling a lot with loading and slicing this massive model.
Can you also do an adapter for the IKEA Hemma (E27)? Woudl be nice to be able to hang it from the ceiling.
Thanks and best
Hi,
please download it again.
I've added a smaller moon.stl for the e14 ikea strala version.
as well as a whole new version with bigger bottom opening for E26 amazon light socket (called UniversalThreadedAdapter.zip)
LeHa Design, it appears we are struggling to achieve a quality print and could use your assistance.
seems like nobody is readinbg this comments. :s
I am sorry guys, I didn't get any notification. I'll answer all of them today!
Just wanted to let you know, I've printed this twice (once in Eryone Marble, once in Bambu Basic PLA White) on a P1S, it printed flawlessly both times using the settings provided in the 3mf.
If you don't have a Bambu printer, did you follow the slicing instructions in the 0_README.txt file?
I will need to re-download it because the TXT file is missing.

Yup, the designer fixed the download yesterday to include the README, which has good slicing instructions.
Hi, sorry for the late reply, i didnt get any notification from thangs....
what issues do you face? which printer do you use? which filament do you use? thanks!
No text file instructions, I got it working on the K1 Max with my own guesses, but it's not perfect.
hi, please download it again, i've uploaded the txt in the mean time, it should be there. if not shoot me a mail, and i'll send it to you :)

Hey guys. Just purchased this model. The description says "[TXT] file: Filament recommendations for moon and base, links to all required products, slicer software recommendations", but there is no text file in the downloads. Can you provide it?
sorry for the late reply, i didnt get any notification from thangs....
i send you the files already per mail. could you tell me, what files you did recieve? did you get the zip file called moon_big.zip? or only the model files directly?
Hey, thanks for the reply.
I clicked the Download All button on this page, which gave me a file called "BIG Moon Lamp 200mm High Res E27 Ikea Strala.zip".
However, I just downloaded that again, which has the same filename, but different content. The original had no 0_README.txt, but did a have a moon_big.zip which contains the promo jpegs. The one I just downloaded has the 0_README.txt, but no moon_big.zip images.

BTW, your E numbering seems a little random? The filename refers to E27, but the adapter in the ZIP is for a Strala E14, but as far as I can tell Ikea don't make an E14 Strala, they are E12. That's why I was bugging you about getting the README, because I needed that Ikea link to make sure I was getting the right thing.
BTW, do you happen to know of any US Amazon products which will fit? The Strala is not available for online purchase in the US, it's in-store only (a 4 hour drive for me).
Hi Hugh, i'll fix the picutre stuff today. the adapter is for the E14 strala lamp, but i imagine the e14 is not a common standard in the US? i had a look, the strala from IKEA.us is E12. i would need some outer dimensions, so i can model an adapter. Do you want to use E12 or E26?
i think, this would be the easiest, since it has an outer thread:
https://www.amazon.com/Zarnicy-Plug-Pendant-Light-Cord/dp/B0CSKRG5BJ?crid=292KTUD94LWXW&dd=-TzeDF5sZZsPoOzz8qOeiw%2C%2C&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.7ANLl6Gt0r1MC
Do you have CAD experience? if not, i can offer you as well, that you buy an E12 and E26 socket from amazon, which is readily available, and you send it to me, so i can model the adapter (ofc i'll pay for the stuff and shipping)
I do not have any significant CAD experience. I'd actually just loaded the adapter into OnShape to see if it's something I could modify myself, and .... yeah, no, lol.
I'd be more than happy to order both E12 and E26 sockets delivered to you. I think it would be a good addition to this model, to have adapters readily available in the US.
I've printed a lot of moon lamps over the years, and yours is the best overall cohesive, aesthetic design.
I'll respond to your last email.
that'd be amazing, shoot me a mail hello@lehadesign.at
thanks!
