Just a quick DIY rock tumbler. Parts include:
- Motor mounting bracket
- Coupler for attaching tumbler shaft to motor D-shaft
- Support bracket for powered shaft
- Brackets for attaching the boards perpendicular
Parts you will need:
- Boards to build the actual thing
- A hole saw or some other way to drill the holes in the boards
- A motor. I used a 12V 100RPM High-Torque DC Motor. I used this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183846644222
- A power supply for the motor. I used this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264310583780?var=563897081879
- 1" PVC pipe for the 2 shafts
- Rubber bands to make the shafts grippy. You could also use a rubber sleeve/host of some kind or some shrink wrap tubing for this.
- Some 1/4" bolts and nuts for mounting the motor mount
- A M3x10 machine screw to lock the motor coupler to the shaft
