###INTRO
---
I've printed a few clean/dirty dishwasher signs. After a bit of use (there are many on TVerse...and they are SUPER handy, especially with kids), I started thinking about using a magnet to quantize the sign switching between clean and dirty. I also thought about the fact that there are likely languages where the words for "clean" and "dirty" don't necessarily have the same number of letters and how the use of icons/pictures could make the sign a bit more universal.

From these thoughts and a little brainstorming was birthed the Magnetic Icon Dishwasher Sign.  This thing feels sturdy and the action on the slider is crisp and quick. I hope others enjoy the utility of this as much as I enjoyed designing it.

1. SLIDER: Affix two button mags into back of chose slider (CA glue)
2. BOTTOM: Affix one button mag into back of bottom (CA glue)
3. ANGLED BASE:
 * **Quad Button Mag Base**: Affix four button mags into base (CA glue)
 * **Bar Mag Base**: Affix bar mag into base (CA glue)
4. Place Slider into grooves of bottom
5. Enclose top over slider onto bottom
6. Turn over and place angled base legs into base leg slots of back
 (*ensure the back is angling towards the top of the assembly*)
7. Attach everything with the 4 M4x8mm bolts
 (*Squeeze the Top and Bottom assembly together while you twist in the bolts...you may find it necessary to twist into and out of the assembly slightly as you go as it's meant to be a tight fit*)

MagIcon Dishwasher Sign

Had some ideas and it kind of snowballed from there. I have no idea if this is overkill or if there's legitimate use for it but I'm enjoying the customizability of camera setups in my test prints so far.

This system uses the [C270_hinge_M3_screw.stl](https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/e5/dd/82/36/88/c270_hinge_M3_screw.stl) model (unmodified) from [luc_e's](https://www.thingiverse.com/luc_e) [Logitech C270 tripod](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1228521) project and a modified tripod_top.stl ("tripod_top-REMIX.stl" in this project's Thing Files).

The system has two mounts....1 rail mount for shooting from above, and 1 belt tensioner bracket mount for shooting at bed level.

There are 10 detents across 180 degrees on each mount as well as the arm to allow for multiple positions.  The swivel on the C270 as well as the back of the tripod top swivel allow for vertical swiveling of the camera.

The Vertical Graduator allows for further customization.

####1-14" PVC SLEEVE W/ HOOK
Problem Statement: I've created a chicken wire+PVC gate for our garden area and need a way for everyone in the family to be able to "lock"/"unlock" it that is easy and relatively effective in holding back the wind.

Printed PLA (200C/60C) @ 2mm layer height.

Used supports for the hook and both pairs of tabs (for top supports you may want to make sure they don't pass directly through the lower tab holes)

####Hardware needed
-   2 x M3 screws
-   2 x M3 bolts

NOTE: *PLA on this model didn't feel quite pliable enough to enable the model to open up to attach it to the 1-1/4" PVC pipe so sliding it on from the end feels like the only option. Something to keep in mind with regards to already-assembled PVC. Your mileage may very but the resistance I was feeling made me not even want to try.*

Clothing clip on Proform Pro 5000 broke.  It was always a pain putting on since, the way they had it designed, the knot from the string was always in the way when you went to clip it on your clothing.  

Recreated with some minor modifications (larger swoop on the clip, moved the hole to a more logical spot that wasn't in the way.  No reason it shouldn't be able to be used as a replacement for other safety systems of the same flavor.

####Battery Cover for Anker A7852M mouse

Been replacing the tape on this broken battery cover periodically for over a year..only when the tape starts coming loose.  Difference this time is when I went to replace it....I now have a 3d printer! **Flippity Jippity!**  Grabbed the calipers and fired up DesignSpark Mechanic. A few tests prints and my woes were allayed.

Anker A7852M mouse battery cover

We chew a decent amount of gum in our house. After discovering these handy Extra Gum plastic containers, we started buying bulk gum to refill them with. The only downside is that the stick separators in the container are made of paper which, over time, starts to crumple and just get in the way. DesignSpark Mechanical and 3d printer to the rescue!  

*NOTE: The individual separators are slightly wider at the top to help conform to the container body as well as discourage sticks from trying to sneak between the wall and the separator.*

Hopefully others that find these packs too damned convenient to throw away finds utility in this print. For those individuals, enjoy.

 Extra Gum Bulk Pack Stick Separator

CR2025 are the same diameter (20mm) as 2032s (i.e. the first two digits) and since they are 2.5mm thick (instead of 3.2mm as the 2032s are -- i.e. the second two digits), I created a 2025 lid to be used with the CR2032 box so I could store 2025s as well.  Heads-up -- I didn't spend any time trying to match the same font.
