This is a paint brush holder I made for when I'm actively working on something. It's angled so that you can sit the brushes in it and fill the small reservoir with water, letting you rinse your brushes as you go. It's not a lot of water, but enough to let you keep your brushes clean and maintained as you use them. You can also use it dry as a simple organizer for the brushes you're using on your current project. each one holds up to 5 brushes.

I have a holder for sponge brushes coming soon as well - keep an eye out if you use those.

Gridfinity Paint Brush Holder & Rinser - Wet / Dry

This is part of my Gridfinity Paint Stuff collection. I've been wanting some Gridfinity-based organization for my paint area, so I made some stuff.

This is a paint brush holder I made for when I'm actively working on something. Gridfinity Paint Palette

These are holders for 2oz acrylic paint bottles - the kind you get from hobby / craft stores. There's a 4x1 option and a 2x1 option. Both have a little rim at the top  just in case you have any paint drips or spills, but otherwise these are pretty straightforward and simple.

Gridfinity Acrylic Paint Bottle Holder

A small case I designed to hold the detachable mic and wireless dongle for the Steel Series Arctis 1 headset. 

It's designed to be a snug fit in order to keep the parts secure during transport, so bear that in mind. The lid should sit off of the case a tiny bit when closed so that you don't have to pry it open.

Recommended settings are:

Layer Height: .24 - .32
Infill Type: Tri-Hex or other
Infill Density: 20% - 40%

Here is a basic, 1x1 Gridfinity glasses holder. Holds sunglasses as well as eyeglasses up to 145mm in width. However the file can easily be modified to increase or decrease height as needed.

I've put together a few simple Gridfinity blocks for storage drives. A lot of us have tons of old drives sitting around - better to store them securely for future projects.

There are 3 sizes, which are as follows:

2.5" Drive Size: The main model fits 3 SSD-sized 2.5" drives (also known as laptop drives). Most traditional HDD 2.5" drives as well as virtually all SSDs will fit within the slots just fine. Its Gridfinity dimensions are 1x2x2. The slots are 7.2mm thick each.

Edit 5/23/22: Added another 2.5" option which fits older, thicker drives. The slots are 9mm.

Edit 09/03/22: Added the following sizes:

2.5in x 9mm
2.5in x 9.3mm
2.5in x 9.5mm
2.5in x 10mm

3.5" Drive Size: This model holds a single full-size 3.5" HDD. Its Gridfinity dimensions are 1x3x3. The slot is 26mm thick.

M.2 / NVME Drive Size: The final model stores M.2 or NVME sized drives. Store up to 8 within Gridfinity dimensions of 1x1x1. The slots are 3mm thick.

All of these will print just fine with the following settings:

Layer height: .24 - .32
Walls / Top / Bottom: 3
Infill: 10% - 20%
Supports: none

A couple of simple shower caddies I made because I needed them. I printed the single for myself and the double for my S/O; she seems to need the extra space. Both versions will hold a standard sized bar of soap as well as various other accoutrements. Check them out, maybe they'll work for you.

Top / Bottom / Walls: 3
Infill: 10%

This is a 2x3 Gridfinity adapter / holder for a standard-sized Altoids tin. Now your favorite Altoids tin project can be part of your favorite storage organization project.

The default file will have a little space around the tin so that you can just pick it up and put it down. If you want it to fit tightly in the space, print the SNUG FIT version of the file.

You can also modify the base template however you like, though. There's quite a bit of room on the sides of the tin slot, so be creative.

Recommend the following settings:

Layer height: .24 - .32
Walls / Top / Bottom: 3
Infill: 10% - 20%
Supports: none

This is a 1x1 block for the Gridfinity system, which stores up to 9 full-size SD cards as well as 9 Micro SD cards.

I recommend printing this if you have a large amount of SD cards to store. This is not great for cards which you are using constantly, as it will get tedious to remove individual cards. This is dense storage for those of us who have lots of these cards and adapters lying around.

Print settings are as usual for my Gridfinity items:

Layer height: .24 - .32
Top / Bottom Layers + Walls: 3 - 4
Infill: 10% - 20%

Use the lower values for cheaper / faster prints; use the higher values for weightier / higher quality items. You get the idea.

But if you're here already, you can probably figure that out.

It's not too pretty but it will make your phone stand up, and it fits with #Gridfinity so print one out if you want. I recommend these settings:

Drives will sit straight up and down but are intentionally a tiny bit loose - in my experience if they are tight in the socket you end up picking up the whole block instead of the drive you want.

Gridfinity USB & Micro SD Holder

1x1 Gridfinity block for storing up to 10 USB devices as well as 3 Micro SD cards. Simple design set up for fast printing. 

Recommended settings are as follows:

Layer Height: .32mm
Walls: 3
Infill: 10% - 20% (depending on desire)
Supports: No

A super easy filament swap print for those who want to try it out. This print can be used as a cool bit of wall art as I show in the picture, simply put it in a frame and add some color-changing LEDs behind it and this print really pops.

Here are my print settings:

Layer height: .32mm
Walls: 3
Top & Bottom: 6 layers
Infill: 8% tri-hex pattern (no actual infill will print, it will be all top / bottom layers)
Material: PLA+, 208F hotend, 60F bed
Support: None

I used white PLA+ for the bottom and black PLA+ for the graphic. Use whatever material you like, but I highly recommend they are the same type and brand, just different colors. This eliminates a lot of variables and makes sure they bond together as best as possible.

In Cura, insert a Filament Change at Layer 4. You should have 3 layers of background material, then the rest will be the graphic, so you will need to change prior to layer 4 starting if you decide to pause and do it manually. I recommend having your nozzle move up and away so that you can push some extra filament through. This prevents smears of the previous color ending up in your graphic.

PS: For the frame, I simply cut out some black construction paper to fit a 9" x 9" shadow box, and then cut a rectangle out slightly smaller than the print itself and mounted the print inside of it. Then I just ran a cheap RGB LED strip around the back. Cool effect for cheap :)

Amazing Spider-Man Wall Art - Easy Filament Swap

These are 100Hex tiles featuring the Hellraiser box Lament Configuration faces. They should fit any of the 100Hex project things, and should be easily resizable for whatever your needs might be.

Warning - the 2a and 2b tiles are pretty difficult prints, so make sure your settings and your leveling are perfect.

The Hellraiser faces used in this project are my own - I extracted them from original drawings of the boxes used in the movie production and then made them into 3D models for my own use, as none of the other faces available online for free were satisfactory to me. I have made my own 1:1 Hellraiser box using these faces - they are 100% movie accurate. I have not uploaded the faces themselves, but I decided to use them for this project.

100Hex Hellraiser Box Lament Configuration Tiles

This is the base for a small table. The legs will stand approximately 6in off the ground, plus the height of whatever table top you use. Perfect for low-seated areas where you need a small table.

Prints in one piece, no supports. Includes holes to screw in a table top. I recommend the following settings:

15 - 20% infill
3 - 4 walls / perimeter shells
3 - 4 top & bottom shells

The more infill / shells you do, the better it will turn out. It will also use more filament, so you can choose your preferred settings. It will take between 10 and 15 hours to print.

Please note that this table is in no way meant to be load-bearing. This should go without saying but it's not a seat in any way, this is a base for a small table and has a load capacity of 5 - 10lbs. You're responsible for how you use it.

A Round To It

External mount replacement for a Ubiquiti Nanobeam M5. Meant to replace the stock mount which comes with the device, using the minimal design / material necessary.

There is also a version of the mount arm which conforms to a mounting pole, as in the original design.

You may need supports on the arm, specifically where the holes intersects the ball. Your software's automatic supports should be sufficient. I suggest printing the arm upside down (flat part of the ball touching the bed) for best results. You can also print it sideways by putting it about 1mm above the bed and using supports. The coupler should print in place without supports.

I printed these in ABS for the higher heat tolerance and better outdoor / environment ruggedness, but they should print in PLA as well. Check the settings I used and adjust as necessary.

Ubiquiti Nanobeam M5 external mount replacement

This design conforms to the mount pole which originally came with the device. Use if you're attaching this mount to stock hardware or something similar.

Made this so we can have quick access to air freshener around the house. Never know when you might need it!

These are mounted with strong double-sided tape, but you could easily modify this to have screw holes through the mount plate if desired.

I print these at 15% infill (mostly only matters for the bottom) using PLA or PLA+. Should print in about 2 1/2 hours.
