Hello all.
This is a multi-part solution for mounting a Logitech C270 webcam to a 2020 aluminum extrusion._ I designed it to be on the top extrusion of an Ender3 Max looking down at the build plate. _But will mount to any extrusion.
You will need:
(10x) m3x5x4 - Brass heatset inserts. [https://dfh.fm/collections/fasteners/products/threaded-heat-insert-nut] The printed parts (6x) m3x10 screws (4x) m3x6 screws (2x) m4x12 screws (2x) m4 tnuts
Instructions
Insert (8x) m3x5x4 heatset inserts into the main_body Insert (2x) m3x5x4 heatset inserts into the back of the webcam_mounting_arm Insert your Logitech C270 webcam, cord first, into the main body. Attach webcam_main_body_front with (4x) m3x10 screws Attach webcam_mounting_arm to the back of the main body using (4x) m3x6 screws Attach webcam_mounting_arm_tnut_slot to the rear of the mounting arm using (2x) m3x10 screws Attach the entire unit to your 2020 aluminum extrusion using (2x) m4x12 screws attached to t-nuts.
**Be mindful of your webcam wire. I zip-tied mine down to keep it out of the way of the printing volume. **
