Agazzani makes high-quality industrial bandsaws in Italy. But when the table inserts (also called throat plates) get damaged or lost it can be hard to find replacement parts, especially dealing with international shipping.

Eagle Tools gave me an aluminum one and asked if I could make a replacement version in plastic. I told them I thought I could machine an aluminum version, but they said they'd prefer stiff plastic so if the blade nicks it the blade is not damaged. 

The original had M5 set screws for precisely adjusting the height/level from the top, so I tapped this to fit the same screws and they work perfectly.

I originally printed this in ASA, but Eagle asked for a few more so I also printed some in NylonX and PC. I assume would also work fine in PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, etc.

I've been using these Akro-Mils plastic small parts organizers for 7 years, but I recently re-organized some drawers and needed more dividers. I printed these in ASA but am sure they would work in any filament.

The clear plastic cover for the red status LED on our Technivorm MoccaMaster broke. I modeled and printed a replacement part in clear polycarbonate. It is odd shaped because it grips onto an LED that behind the cover is shaped like a small Christmas light.

Grace Keychain

Our kitchen sink came with a stainless steel grid to protect the bottom from scratches. The grid had plastic or rubber feet that eventually wore out and became gross. Lots of websites sell replacement grids, but I couldn't find anywhere that sells just the feet. Luckily they are quite easy to model and print. 

My sink takes 8 feet so I print batches of 16 and just throw the old ones away after six months. I've done them in both natural TPU and black TPE, although I imagine many filaments would work fine.

My city provides large trash cans for garbage, recycling, and yard waste. One of the pieces that secures the lid to the body broke, which made the lid dangle annoyingly whenever it was opened. Since the city doesn't offer parts, I instead copied the design into Fusion 360 and printed out a replacement in black TPE.

Trash Can Lid Support

Simple utility closet wall hook to hold aprons, mops, etc. I printed this in PETG and it has been holding 5-10lbs with no issue for months. (I also printed a version in NylonX in case the PETG wasn't strong enough, but I haven't needed to use it.)

Apron Hook

In 2016 I wanted to learn Fusion 360, so one of my first projects was a simple extrusion of Make magazine's iconic robot mascot Makey. 

I initially did this just to carve with my Shapeoko3 CNC router from a small block of scrap walnut. Years later I got a 3D printer and updated the file slightly so that I could try it as a two-color print. 

I've also included an STL file for a single-extrusion, which is basically just leaving the eyes hollow, as I did in the original CNC version.

The SawStop Blade Guard includes a 1 ¾" vacuum port, but when not using the Blade Guard (e.g. for narrow cuts), you want to cap that vacuum hose so the suction is not being wasted.

This is just a 1 ¾" (46mm) diameter circle extruded 15mm high. Includes Fusion 360 file.

The SawStop Inline Router Table comes with a fence that attaches via a 2 1/2" dust hose to the main 4" dust port under the table. But when not using the fence, a lot of suction gets wasted, so it is useful to cap Y-split of the port.

This is just a 63mm diameter circle extruded 15mm high. Includes Fusion 360 file.

The SawStop Overarm Dust Collection comes with a 4" dust Y-port to connect the blade guard's smaller vacuum hose into the saw's main dust collection port.
The problem is the design creates very little suction from the blade guard. The other problem (for me) is that because it slips over the saw's built-in dust port, I can no longer clamp a DustRight adapter to it allowing me to easily move my 4" hose to other large tools.
This version solves both problems, adding a scoop into the airflow to increase suction to the blade guard while also being snapped to fit the rubber portion of the DustRight tool port that clamps onto the saw's built-in port.

I printed this with 100% infill in ASA plus HIPS supports.
