This has been by far one of the most popular things that I've patterned. Print two copies, and sew them right sides together. Trim off the excess fabric and you can either put it on a beanie as a hat topper, or use it as a mask (halloween, cosplay, etc...)

I print this with 0% infill, 2 walls, and I make sure that ensuring vertical wall thickness is turned on. I print the first layer very slow, at 35mm/s. I pause at layer two, add fabric that is 12" x 12" held down by magnets, clips or tape, and resume the print. I use a 2 way stretch polymesh that allows for a comfortable stretch. The mesh grid allows great visibility when worn as a mask.

This is where I get my polymesh from.

I am so excited for my first Kaizen 3D make! It a little small, but that is more my sewing than the print size. Lol. I am so happy it worked out and can't wait to make more 3d print and mesh creations.

I am attempting this as my 2nd print from your collection. The 2 step square print went well for a first attempt, and i already lost 4 hexagons on this one, but I have gotten my magnet placement down way better, the fabric is held in place better, and it should lead to a better print. I found that by adding 3 or 4 magnets together, folding the excess fabric under the bed, then placing the magnets on the bottom, it eliminates any issues with the print head or fan case from moving the magnets.
