Foldable Hand Fans
Update 5/13/25 - V2 -An updated 3mf file has been uploaded with thicker handles and another size option to increase durability. I will be revising the other fan patterns to accommodate the thicker handles.
Update 9/19/25 - I have added a PDF guide on how to customize textiles with modifiers.
This is another super fun model to print and assemble! This is a multi print hand fan. See the attached PDF guide for step by step instructions. Print with PLA for a decorative fan, or with PETG for a more heat resistant fan. I would not recommend printing the handles with PLA Silk as they may break more easily. These have been tested under normal fanning conditions. Proceed at your own risk when clacking or fanning vigorously.
You will print the fan on a textile mesh, and 11 independent arms connected by a center pin and two jump rings. Because I print on mesh, and on holographic sheets, I print much slower around 35-50mm/s. If you'd like to print these faster, more power to you!
I have also included the STEP file of the outer fan shroud in case you'd like to customize it further with a logo or other graphics.

Dang, loving those colors!!
Do you have a guide for customizing this model? I already emailed you, but you haven't responded here either.
Ack! I'm not sure how I missed the last notification on this. I just created a PDF guide that I will upload onto this model. When you redownload it, there will be a PDF that will walk you through the steps.
