This is the pattern for a hood to be either sewn directly onto an existing hoodie, or to be used as a standalone hood / cloak. I like using a powermesh for these prints to increase flexibility.

The file contains 2 different sized diamond patterns for a hood. One hood will take 4 separate prints on a 256x256mm build plate. My settings are saved in the 3mf file, with the pause included at the beginning of layer 2. You can also download the individual STL files and add your own parameters. I print with a .24mm layer height for a total of 3 layers.

Once the prints are finished, you'll have to trim away the excess fabric on one end fold over the opposite side's fabric to attach with UV resin, like the other design illustrated in the general printing guide. You'll then be able to use this as your pattern to cut out your base material of choice. Sew the two pieces, separately, right sides together and unfold. Place the sewed inner lining inside of the assembled 3D printed mesh hood, and sew along the base of hood before sewing along the sides. You can also sew this onto an existing hood, although hoodie sizes may vary.

By chance, would you have a pattern for the pockets on a hoodie?

Whoops! Sorry I missed this comment! I have one big front pocket pattern but haven't made the negative modifiers. My shop is a mess right now but can get some patterns added to the list. Are you looking for a big pocket or split pockets?

Do you have a tutorial for how to fuse the print pieces together to make a larger piece?

I'm so sorry for not seeing this comment! There is a PDF guide that's included with file that shows the process of trimming the fabric, and using UV curable resin to attach them together. I can make a hood specific video and upload it over the weekend.

what brand of uv resin are you using?

There are many types out there - This is the brand that I use. I use the general type most often, but if i'm doing specific glossing or doming, they have a high viscosity resin as well. (or low for that matter)
