This is a custom back button plate for the FlyDigi Vader Pro 3 controller. It was designed to do the following:
- Reduce the distance needed to actuate the mechanical button on the circuit board.
- Add the ability to interface with removable paddles
An STL for a paddle set is included which was designed to be as ergonomic as possible. The inner paddles are meant to be used with your middle fingers and the outer paddles with your ring fingers. They are also designed to be pressed in towards the palm instead of like you are pressing down on a button.
I've also included custom thumbstick bases which are also designed to have swappable heads. The included heads have a very satisfying and best in class grip texture with the knurling. I've included standard height, tall height (comparable to XBox Elite Series 2 tall sticks), and an extreme tall stick as more of a joke.
I used a Creality Halot Mage with Any Cubic Tough resin (gray) and the Lychee Slicer (default settings for printer and resin). So the models are designed to account shrinkage. You may need to make adjustments for FDM printers.
