Here's a fun one for you! If you're into collecting Christmas ornaments, this one's rather special. This is a completely print-in-place double sided ornament, no need for glue or post-processing assembly.
I used a sparkly PEY bed plate to add a little flair to the back, and to make it more festive 🙂
This was a quick print, a little under 1.5 hours for one, and measures 80mm x 80mm so you can print multiples on a single bed if you want.
The 3MF file will have all the settings applied to Bambu printers and if you're using Bambu Studio. Otherwise, you can download the STL and use the following print instructions:
Print Instructions Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.20mm
Note: The red is only used for the 'Merry Sithmas' wording on the back of the medallion. If you wish to use a different colour, feel free to swap the red to something more to your liking!
Filaments Used: PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4 PLA Meta Sunlu Red Transmission Distrance: 4.0 PLA+ Overture Dark Blue Transmission Distance: 1.8 PLA Sunlu Coffee Transmission Distance: 3.0 PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5
Swap Instructions: Start with Black At 1.00mm swap to Red At 2.00mm swap to Black At 2.08mm swap to Dark Blue At 2.20mm swap to Coffee At 2.52mm swap to Jade White for the rest.
