creaserra

Hi :)

My name is Javier Serra and thanks to my passion for design and 3D printing I created my own studio: creaserra

I am currently an industrial design and mechanical engineering student based in Madrid.

My goal is to create functional models that benefit from the advantages offered by FDM technology, to share them with you, as well as to learn about this new manufacturing method and develop my skills as a designer, always taking into account the environment. Follow me on my path and let's keep creating together!

Minimalist sunglasses stand.

The design is inspired by the facial shape of the glasses and nose (in a simplified way) and stands on any surface thanks to its heavy base.

The base is filled with sand or any other heavy object it could hold and then sealed with the lid. I recommend filling it completely with sand and gluing the lid with contact glue. There are two models of lids in case (1) does not fit.

The stand can hold several glasses and is shaped for easy access. It can also be used to hang other accessories such as necklaces.

It is printed without the need for any media. For this purpose it has to be oriented upside down, i.e. with the open base facing upwards. I recommend covering everything with contour lines and using a layer height of about 0.2 mm.
