A new flip flop design that fixes a lot of issues with the original concept. It takes in balls from any top edge and alternates between sending balls left or right.

Pros to this design (over the original flip flop):

• More entrances: The ball can come in the sides and still make use of the same flip flop logic as the top entrance. (The 'advanced' variant on the original flip flop has side entrances but the ball always comes out the same side.)
• High readability: The arrow on the top of the flipper points in the direction the next ball will go. (I also included a variant without this arrow if you don't like it.)
• Anti-jam: If one of the two paths is blocked, the other path will still function. Once two balls get stuck in the blocked path, all future balls will go down the open path.

Cons to this design:

• Double-Ball: If two balls come in at the same time (such as from sozus or other reservoir tiles), they can get stuck on each other and jam the whole mechanism. If you have a lot of reservoir tiles in your pool, this tile might not work very well.

Credit for this concept goes to joshua_4975 on the Hextraction Discord. He originally made this design in laser-cut wood and I ported it to 3D-printable stl format. I also tweaked the design to improve its consistency.

Required Materials: M3x12mm screw (M3x10mm or M3x14mm should work as well) M3 washer (optional)

Printing: Print the flipper with 100% infill to ensure correct weight balance. Use supports on the flipper.

Assembly: Put the screw through the flipper. Stack the washer on the end of the screw and screw the flipper into the base.
