- A taller remake of the tile that actually has space for balls;
- A wording that gives you a better way to track the ability;
- A token to track the ability with, and;
- A redone planchette that says 'Ouija' on it instead of 'Wedji' because Hasbro are one court case away from losing the trademark and also, and I cannot stress this next part enough: **_fuck Hasbro_**.

I was originally happy to have this be a basic, and not have an effect, but then based on a comment by dionysus42 on discord I made a rules card that lets you portal between boards if something like the Shahrazad tile put multiple in play. So naturally there's two variants; one with an effect star and one without, two rules cards with different strengths to the passive effect, and also a third rules card variant that's just an edited quote from the show.

Rules card effect:
> On play: You may move a tile between boards if more than one is in play.
> Teleport effects can move balls between boards.

Hextraction Tile Rick

Hey what do you know, it's another Hextraction tile based on a popular MTG card.

This one is based on Sensei's Divining Top; with the effect translated as best I could within a reasonable card rule space.

Activate: Next draw take 3 and return 2.
Trigger: Draw then return this tile to the pool.

Multiple activations of the first ability without somehow triggering a draw in between are reduntant, since it replaces the actions you perform on your next draw; from take one and keep it, to take three and keep one, returning the other two to the pool. If your next draw would be for more than one tile, perform each draw action separately, doing the replacement for the first only.

On triggering the second ability, you perform the changed draw action only if you declared that you were using the activated ability prior, since you can only activate abilities like that once the board has stabilized. If you didn't, then you missed you're chance since it gets returned to the pool before you'd next have the chance to.

Included tile variations are:
- **Full**: Which is everything except the spindle which requires either the top tip and a bit of filament, or a M2x10-8mm bolt.
- **Flat**: Which has a flat representation of the top like on the rules card.
- **Topless** and **top**: As two separate pieces for etiher dual filament printing, or for tricking the slicer into a more sturdy connection between the two. Requires spindle as per *full*.
- **Top whole separate**: The top on its own, without any print-aid-modifications, and with the original spindle that will almost definitely snap when printed at that size. This is more intended for if you want to scale it up and do stuff with it than it is for this tile.

'Full' prints fine without supports.

The model for the top is based on one I originally made around 10 years ago. It used to be available on Shapeways, although my account on that appears to have been deleted in the near decade since I last used it.

Hextraction Sensei's Divining Top Tile

These are the parts to convert my previous [Hextraction Iris Tile](https://than.gs/m/958994) into a secret variant, and to make decoy non-iris secret tiles that look like the iris from the outside.

To make a secret iris you need the [non-lid parts from the original](https://than.gs/m/958994), the secret iris lid, and a secret iris cap. Variant caps are included for both [the Zack design with an inset circle](https://than.gs/m/856513), and an [inset questionmark](https://than.gs/m/878671), because the actual iris has shallower peg holes to attach the cap, and a nipple on the inside of it to that if the iris is open balls are guaranteed to fall in it.

If you need to glue the lid parts together you may wish to do that before attaching the base to ensure it doesn't seep through and gum up the mechanism.

To make fake secret iris tiles you will need the lid from whichever variant matches the rest of your secret tiles. If you don't have any secret tiles already, they can all be fake iris tiles, if you do, throw in a few fake secret iris tiles just to throw people off so they're questioning more than 'is the iris open or closed'. **Do not use the iris lid cap on non-iris secret tiles; the nipple will block the centre.**

Also included is a boolean subtract stamp so you can easily convert any not-included secret tile into a fake iris secret tile, and the lid nipple so you can use whichever other variant of the lid and still get the guaranteed pit effect.

Hextraction Secret Iris Tile

This one took a few iterations to get right, but here it is; a Hextraction tile with a working iris pit.

There are two versions, one that's just an interesting mechanical piece that you open or close and play as normal, and one with an effect star and effect jaggeys around the opening with an accompanying card instructing you to open or close it.

For assembly, print an assembly jig, and for each tile, a base, either lid, and 6 blades.
- Using the M2 bolts, attach each blade to the base with the knobs pointing upwards. Leave the bolts just loose enough for free movement. If you're substituting filament; glue or weld the filament in the blade hole protruding opposite the knob and pray.
- Take the assembly jig and align it under the base, then close the blades until they are touching the central column of the jig.
- Take the chosen lid and, being sure to keep the blades in place against the jig, clip it into the base offset by 30 degrees. This should have the clips of the base lining up with the thinnest part of the lid, and the knobs of the blades lining up with the gutters of the lid.
- You may need to poke things around to make sure everything has set into the correct place.
- It will probably be stiff when first assembled, opening and closing it a few times should loosen it up. If it's too stiff to actuate by hand, you can get leverage with the game board and a pencil or similar.

Turning the lid relative to the base, it's clockwise to open, counterclockwise to close.

Hextraction Iris Tile

This is a remix of the lid part of the [Shahrazad Tile](https://than.gs/m/863261), modified to be compatible with the base part of any secret tile.

Also included are remade mini DIC, I, and star tiles with rounder bases of the channels, and varying depths to match the default card and the new secret lid.

For assembly you will also need the rules card from the original, and a secret tile base.

I accept no responsibility for games that last hours then end in a tiles-ran-out draw because you printed a Shahrazad of each secret tile.

So this one's a little on the ambitious side. It's a pit with an alternate win-con that requires you to assemble 7 tiles. 6 of them fortunately are virtual and created by sinking balls in the pit.

Important note: The 6 candle tiles are actually all different and only have one notch each. I might make 6 notch versions if they turn out to be too annoying to play with like that.

As to where the 'effect star' and 'trigger jaggeys' indicators are; it's a big ritual star dealy, and the inner most part is jaggeys made from the star lines.

Also I apologise for not optimising the candles.

Hextraction Hex Ritual Tiles

Remix of [Hextraction Hammer Tile](https://thangs.com/file/884152) by [elizupke](https://thangs.com/designer/elizupke). There's technically none of the original in this; it's a remix in spirit more than it is in technicallity.

I had a few issues with the original of varying levels of importance; the wording technically doesn't work and read a bit weird gramatically. Debossed text can be super hit or miss and it was hard to read what my printer made of it, and the the trigger jaggeys were a bit harder to see than they could have been.

While I was at it I thought I'd fancy it up. This version also uses a little bit less filament.

A Hextraction tile based on that one Magic: The Gathering card.

It's got a much-recommended-against static effect (unless you pick the V3 wording rules card), but given that it's only going to come into effect if you've got some draw effects, and you'll be looking for an excuse to not discard, I'm sure it'll be fine. Also it's huge and pretty hard to not notice.

**Included tile variations are**:
- A DIC path-tile with the sacrificial support under the tab,
- A DIC path-tile with additional sacrifical supports for the for the extreme overhangs,
- One that has no paths and no effect star if you just want a pretty Reliquary Tower,
- And a proxy tile for the sake of not getting the full tower smashed up in the shuffle or instead of the full tower if that's too much to print.

**Included rules card varations are**:
- Wording V1: Closer the original MTG card wording, for if you're not bothering with a proxy, or don't care for the rules backage with it.
- Wording V2: With a separate rule card for the proxy, and makes the tower virtual with options for artwork.
- Wording V3: Which replaces the ongoing effect with an activated ability that plays basically the same, and invents a new keyword "Virtual proxy" that implies the proxy card rules and takes one less card, and artwork variations.

You only want 1 or 2 rules cards, depending on how you want to represent it, and if you want the proxy and/or the tower.

The V3 cards also come with a fix for the corner radii, that I noticed were inconsistent in a new way to what other rules tiles are.

Get the ball in the hole, receive 3 tiles. It's actually surprisingly consistent. I was expecting to have to make the ramp shallower.

The 4 versions of the tile are with and without sacrificial supports, and with and without rules on the tile, depending on if you want the kinda shitpost rules card and the ability to force opponents to draw.

I noticed the wording of the rules card didn't match the described intended effect of the card, so I reworded it to work as intended.

The original card text was "Trigger: If three or more balls are trapped inside, destroy this and all adjacent tiles"
With the intended effect reading "The effect triggers when the three-ball rule destroys the tile, causing it to take all of its neighbors down with it. For best results, line up a few copies in a combustible conga line to set up a devastating chain reaction."
Except as written it was a trigger separate from rule 2.1.5.5, could fail to explode if some of the balls were touching from the outside, and the chain reaction was basically just metatext.

The new wording "On destroy: destroy each adjacent tile." solves both of those issues, and is also short enough to fit on the actual tile instead of needing a card. It also explicitly means it explodes if any other effect tries to destroy it, such as the hammer tile or anything else. Personally I'm fine with that.

I've included both the errata'd card so you can "update" any already printed bomb tiles you have, and updated versions of the bomb tile that removes the trigger-indication-jagged bits, since it's no longer a "trigger", and adds the rules text to the actual tile. The difference between the two tiles is if the fuse cuts into the text or not, which you may prefer one way or the other.

An on-trigger draw and discard tile for Hextraction with a flip-flop to lock alternate players out of the effect, for some strategising.

Assembly requires an 10-12mm M3 bolt and a washer or two.

The variations are left- and right- handed, and then with the inner corner rounded since balls could get stuck on it, and then with inset or outset rules text.

The peen I have tested is V2. V3 I designed to deal with balls occasionally getting stuck as the thing turns.
