Maker-favorite screwdriver storage blocks for the Gridfinity modular workshop storage system - multiple options to fit your machine shop!

Gridfinity is the ultimate organizer for your whole workshop! Learn more at Find more Gridfinity accessories at https://bit.ly/3E2NxnZ

Parametric source files:

These holders store the popular, high-quality iFixit Mako screwdriver kit, the old-skool iFixit screwdriver set, and the ES121 open-hardware electric screwdriver. Open-source screwdriver, what a time to be alive.

Print the ones that work with your stuff!

Gridfinity Tips!

  • No brims or support required!
  • Use any filament with an 0.6mm or smaller nozzle.
  • Wider bins can curl, so maximize your bed adhesion if you're going big!
  • All storage blocks are compatible with all baseplates!
  • Most storage blocks are stackable!
  • You can add 6x2mm magnets to the corners! They won't magnetize the contents.

Gridfinity was inspired by Alexandre Chappel's ModuBOX system, which is found at https://www.alch.shop/shop/assortment

  • You can also use M3 screws in the corners.

Took about 6hrs to print on Ender 3 at 0.28 layer and 0.6mm nozzle. Works well enough with my strebito ifixit knockoff set.
This is sick. Thanks Zach!

Yo this is sweet! Ty Zach! Mega stoked on the Gridfinity system and especially this bit kit holder!

Edit: this is for the Driver Set Gen 2.

A couple of notes:

  • A tiny hole opened up at the very bottom of the top right bit slot when I pulled the support out of the hole directly below it. I might have accidentally jabbed thru with the flathead I was using to knock the support free tho. Might be worth considering slightly decreasing the depth of the M3 screw holes below the bit holder section.
  • The bits that have a larger diameter head than the hex shaft don't sit all the way down in their bit slots since the collar of the head hits the top of the upper surface. This causes them to want to drift up and out of their slots. Creating an inset ledge around the the top of the slots would resolve this issue. This could either be done around all slots if re-arranging the bits was desired or just around the following slots if the bit order was retained from the original case: (in A1 notation) D1:G1, E3, and G6

My print settings: Ender 3 v2 ~18h PLA 0.2mm layer height 20% infill Supports at 80° touching buildplate
