This is a small Fantasy Medieval House, a basic dwelling designed for 28mm diorama, it's perfect for staging minis or as a standalone piece. There's ample detail to allow for scaling up or down. You will need a Midrange Resin printer or an FDM to print this model.

**RESIN PRINTING**
Firstly, if you prefer to add your own supports, use the FDM version films. They're identical and unsupported.
I have **pre-supported a resin version**. I would advise clipping the visible supports around the edges as these
are the thickest.

**FDM**
No supports are needed for filament printing. Just place the files flat on the plate and they'll print happily.

Medieval House / Fantasy Home "Dickens Den" - 28mm Scale

This Zombie Head Dice Tower is a collaboration from [Printed Obsession](https://thangs.com/designer/printedobsession) and VogMan. Designed to look like it will eat you if you don’t follow the game rules properly, this dice tower is a free fun download happy on the game table or the display shelf.

Standing approx. 170mm tall, it has an internal chute of roughly 38mm making it large enough to cope with most dice. There’s also a dice bowl with internally sloped walls which, rumour has it, can help keep the dice from bouncing out… but fate is fickle.

**Provided Images : **It’s important to note that the photographs were taken of the original design which unfortunately had a habit of falling over. Whilst this is true of most zombies, it ruined game play and so a base was quickly added to stabilise it, and that’s the version you’ll find here.

**Resin Version :** Both supported and support free versions are here, hollowed and ready to go.

**FDM Version :** The resin version can be printed on FDM, but supporting may be challenging and some clean up will be likely. The FDM version is much easier to support and print, and a support free version is available as well as a 3MF file. The Dice Bowl needs no supports.

**USEFUL TIP**

With resin printing, if placed flat on the build plate, because of its shape the Stand will create significant suction forces and may pull itself free of the plate, ruining the print. Personally I raised it 5mm on a lot of fine supports and used the slicer to cut a small hole. This removes the suction force and should print normally.

**IMPORTANT – RESIN PRINTING**

There are a lot of projections on these models, thanks to the rough surfaces of the stonework. Whilst I have strived to ensure that these should print without supports (if printed parallel to the build plate), it’s possible some artifacts may occur upon the FEP and in the resin. For this reason I recommend after EVERY print, filter the resin and clean the FEP. 

**SUPPORTS** 

I designed this model to print support-free when placed flat on the build plate. This is perfect for FDM of course, but with resin prints this can lead to a slight tide mark print flaw. For this reason resin prints are best done on an angle, so I have provided OPTIONAL  pre-supported Resin print STLs as well. But the choice is yours.

**SECTIONS**
The castle / tower is divided into separate, stackable sections for easier printing via **both Resin and FDM** methods. In addition to the practical stud and socket design for secure assembly, the model includes witness marks for clear alignment. Furthermore, the rough stonework gives an authentic castle feel to the 3D model. 

**DICE SIZE**
Fulfilling your RPG and tabletop gaming needs, this 3D fantasy miniature, designed with utmost attention to detail, is categorized to fit dice of 20mm size or smaller. However, you can easily upscale the model to incorporate larger dice - for instance, scale files to 116% for a 23mm door opening or 125% for 25mm. 

**SUPPORTS**
This 3D model is designed to print with minimal support, while some might be necessary from the plate to the underside.

**IMPORTANT – RESIN PRINTING**

This **Vogland Orc** was created for my YouTube viewers specifically for something fun to easily print and paint. This version finds the Vogland Hogrider sitting upon his magnificent steed, the infamous Vogland Suicide Pig. Whilst small and cute in stature, the Vogland Pig has probably the tastiest meat in Vogland. However, nature has been kind to it, giving it incredible strength and such a violent disposition that trying to eat one is tantamount to Suicide. Probably for this reason, they’ve struck up an uneasy alliance with the Vogland Orcs, whereby neither species eats the other.

Star Wars Stormtrooper Clone character ring

Further to the incredible Photonsters PTC Heater Unit given to us by X3msnake (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3442165 ) , I looked for an alternative support mechanism to magnets. With that in mind I designed two very basic holders:
1) A corner support to fit inside the lid of large printers like the Mono X and Saturn.
2) A simple forward facing holder. Mine fits easily in my Mars 2 Pro.

I confess I haven't printed no.2 since tinkering, so if it isn't right, let me know. But in principle...

a) Print the holder
b) Check it fits inside the lid without interfering with the Z Arm and plate
c) Bond the holder in position with strong adhesive
d) Push the heater in

I created this 3D print to celebrate the March Madness NCAA Men’s Basketball of 2019. At the suggestion of my subscribers, I recreated the Kentucky Wildcats mascot in a semi 3d format, in my case especially to convert the print to bronze through Lost PLA Casting. With the background sprayed black and the top face polished, it creates a nice relief.

I had to take a few design liberties to replicate the mascot on the smaller scale. It prints at roughly 67mm wide, which is just a tad over 2.5 inches.

Kentucky Wildcats Mascot

This is a rework of the excellent design by Alajaz ( www.thingiverse.com/thing:831304 ). I wanted to make a Brass Monkey using Lost PLA Casting and whilst I loved the original, it was a little thin in places. So I simplified the design, thickened it in places, and gave the monkey a cheeky smile.

It is quite small, just 30mm tall and 5mm deep, as I wanted a metalworking challenge, but the size of it works as jewellery.

There’s two files here – one that’s useable as a pendant and one that isn’t.

Monkey Pendant

This is a small Saxon Cross pendant that I designed within Fusion 360 whilst making a YouTube video. I recently started experimenting with Lost PLA Casting (converting 3D Prints into metal) and I wanted to share my experiences.

For those interested in either doing the same, or perhaps simply because they like the look of the piece, I'm happy to share.

To most viewers this will mean nothing, but to some who follow my YouTube Channel, this is the Casting Tree that I've been developing - seen in several of my videos now.

Those familiar with John Campbell's Casting Handbook will be aware of the concept of a tapered sprue and pouring basin, devices typically included in sand casting to reduce porosity, prevent metal contamination and smooth the flow. I have taken these concepts and introduced them to the casting tree with, so far at least, great success.

It fits perfectly on a steel flask that has a outer diameter of 102mm and is no greater than 150mm tall. If you're in the UK and want to buy one, drop me a line on YouTube or via my website and I'll tell you which online store sells them.

To attach items to the main sprue (the trunk) I use positioning wax. This is wonderfully sticky stuff that holds very well and evaporates perfectly during burnout. Again this can be seen in most of my videos - like the one below.

Lost PLA Casting Tree with Tapered Sprue & Pouring Basin

This is a 4:1 stackable Planetary Gearbox, designed with just enough slack in the system to mean it should work perfectly first time. I've printed a few other such gearboxes and couldn't get them to work because the tolerances were too high... this shouldn't be a problem here. Stackable means you can print two or more gearboxes and insert them into each other, increasing the overall output ratio, ie 4:1, 16:1, 64:1, etc.
