Halo - Closed - Stacking
Torus Halo Open is a modular light sculpture (or sculpture‑only object) built from a repeating “open halo” segment and a single base. The geometry is developed through a parametric Grasshopper workflow iterating proportion, rhythm, and negative space. The final form reads as a stacked, architectural column that frames and diffuses light while keeping the silhouette airy and transparent.
On the spiritual side, the “halo” motif is intentional: repetition, alignment, and balance are the visual language of the piece. As you stack segments, small changes in orientation and precision create a noticeably different presence, so careful assembly becomes part of the work.
