Neon Benchy
June's Endless PLA subscription is out now! Since 4 of the 6 filaments are transparent we have decided to make some light inspired designs!
This Neon Benchy was inspired by the original Benchy design that you can find here: 3DBenchy
Print Settings -0.2mm layer height -15-20% infill -No supports necessary
Assembly -I used this battery pack: Battery -I used this wire: Wire Print all parts (reference the IG reel for assembly) -Cut EL wire tube to 30in ( 762mm) length -Insert the battery pack into the bottom case -Be sure to have the USB-C port face the hole on the case -Be sure to have it lay with the button facing up -Insert the rail through the top case hole -Insert all of the tube through the top case hole -Start with the end of the EL wire, start laying the EL wire into the rail at the “port hole” on the neon benchy -Cap the rail with the rail cap -Lay extra wire into the bottom case -Snap the top case onto the bottom case -Snap the neon rail assembly through the bottom case -Plug a USB-C charger into the case and use the power button to turn on and off
