9 mm Big Thread, Multihead, Push-Fit Hole, Bolt

This bolt has a “big thread” that can screw directly into the Multiboard tiles.

But it’s special because it has a head called “Multihead” that’s larger than other bolts. The Multihead acts the same as the Multiboard tiles, allowing you to insert snaps into the head, and screw in other bolts/rods that have a big thread.

The 9mm thread length is perfect for attaching standard 3mm accessories to Multiboard tiles without protruding through the other side, making it ideal for Multiboards mounted on a surface.

It also has a “push-fit hole” to insert push-fit accessories and screw in bolts/rods that have a mid thread.

Since the head of this bolt is bigger than usual, you can’t place them next to each other when screwed into the tiles.

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30mm for some designs.

This print has overhangs no matter how you orient it and requires special attention in order to print well. Please consider adding a chamfer to the outside edges of the nut, that way it could be printed without any special consideration. Cheers.

Step file for this model seems have some issues. Onshape can't load it. OrcaSlicer can load it, but it says it needs to be fixed.
