Last week I published a concept level for gear pathing maze and we got over 500 downloads proving that you all enjoy the concept and a good brainteaser!

During this week I redesigned every single part of the design to have it even better and optimized for printing!

Don't forget to like the design. And if you print it, I would love to see how it turned out for you so add a "make" to this design to show off your version!

The idea of this maze is to connect both side gears by using all of the gears in a connected loop. Not a single gear can be left un connected or lead to a “dead end”. I have attached a photo showing what’s allowed and what counts as breaking the rules of the puzzle.

A little more about the design

I designed the new base to be the same for all the puzzle levels that I will develop in the future - you will only have to print a single base and for each additional level you will have to print an “insert plate” that fits inside the base and has blockers limiting the board. This way you save material and time as the “insert plate” takes a fraction of time and material compared to the base part.
