Slimline Optical Disk Drive Enclosure / Slim CD/DVD/Blu-Ray/UHD Enclosure.

This is an enclosure for slimline optical disk drives. Many computer cases don't have slimline slots and some don't have drive bays in the front anymore. Using an Optical drive via USB works great. If you have a lot of Blu-Ray and DVD's disks MakeMKV is a tool that allows you to rip your disks for viewing offline. I use JellyFin Server to stream to my TV right off my NAS. To rip your BluRay disks you need a drive that works. Many librefriendly drives are slimline drives from servers. There are $100 enclosures out there but those of us with 3D Printers can print this outstanding case which slides right over the drive. Pressure fit works great and allows you keep the drive in place.

This model prints standing up and the feet do not require supports. I recommend using cat tongue on the bottom feet which grip the table and keeps it from moving.
