Filament Rack

Holds 18 spools of filament and utilizes a 10ft segment of ½ inch metal electrical conduit tubing. The conduit tubing was cut into six 18 inch segments to form the “shelves” for the spools of filament.

The holes for the tubes measure 18.3mm inner diameter, and 25.4mm outer diameter. That just happened to be what worked the best in my case, so I highly recommend printing test portions first and adjusting via the XY hole compensation as needed.

I was able to push/hammer fit the tubes into the brackets but using some sort of glue or epoxy probably isn't a bad idea either. The wings just glue into the center pillars and have held just fine so far.

There are 8 feet the rack rests on. They are a loose fit so I'd recommend gluing them in place if you intend to move the rack around once assembled.

As of right now the rack isn't expandable, however I may add a bracket later to allow you to extend the rack. Let me know if y'all want one.

I printed it out of PLA+ and it's been perfect, so I imagine just about any rigid plastic will work.

Thank you!
