Gridfinity Parametric Baseplate Spacer

If you're anything like me you've been busy dropping Gridfinity baseplates into every single drawer in the house. Before you know it your life is wholly consumed by the grid.

But what do you do when your baseplates don't fit perfectly into your drawers? Randomly jam something into the gap? Glue, screw, or harness the power of magnets to hold them down? Just deal with them sliding around every time you open the drawer? Design a parametric print to fill the gap?

I chose the last option.

In all seriousness, I've been wanting to start learning how to design parametric files in OpenSCAD, and this seemed like an embarrassingly easy place to start.

Just take some measurements, fire up OpenSCAD, and plug those measurements into the customizer panel on the right hand side! You can make spacers to fill out the corner, or just single gaps at the front, rear or sides!

I had to include an STL model for Thangs to be happy, but don't use it unless you need to fill an exactly 10.01mm x 10.01mm corner gap! Use the SCAD file like the nerd we all know you are!

I specifically designed this to hold "Chubby Gorilla" brand 120ml e-liquid bottles, but any straight-sided ⌀42mm bottle will fit!

Gridfinity 1x1 2032 (x7) and LR44 (x5) Battery Holder

Sure, I know there are better, more robust Gridfinity button-cell battery holders out there. Of course there are. But this one matches my PARTICULAR use case. I only use these two sizes on the regular, so why not make an incredibly specific holder for them? Maybe you need this exact configuration too? I don't know! Here it is just in case.

This Gridfinity module can hold five (5!) LR44/SR44 batteries, and seven (7!) 2032 button-cell batteries! I designed it so that none of the batteries touch. That's important to me because they're quite easy to accidentally short.

Gridfinity Ender 3 (± Pro) Extrusion-Mounted 1x1 Baseplate

A 1x1 Gridfinity baseplate made to mount to the end of the Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro's left 4040 base extrusion with the screws that are already there!

Perfect for holding your most used small tools!

The baseplate section has holes for four 6x2mm magnets to keep your gridfinity blocks stable! Make sure to double check your magnet's polarities before gluing them in!

The two screw-holes match my Ender 3 Pro's extrusion perfectly , but due to minor variances you may need to do a little bit of light filing/sanding to get them perfectly lined up.
