This time, I made the villain Roberto, who appeared in Futurama, as a folding fan art. Now Bender has a friend.

Because it is a uniquely shaped robot, it was inevitably designed to print its head separately. Unfortunately I can't print at once, but instead I can add moving structures to this head, so I designed the head to tilt. This is because the printing structure at one Print-in-place is difficult to add motion.

One of the great features of this robot is its ability to rotate its waist, allowing for a more dynamic posture. Of course, Roberto's main item is a knife. This knife is not designed at all sharply.

The arm is likely to fall off the bed / plate during printing. If the robot's arms fall off during printing, it will shake and the print will be destroyed. If your bed / plate adhesion is weak, please use Raft.

The folding order is as follows:

  1. Turn the pin on the front plate of the robot's body to pop it out, and then insert it into the back plate to join the body's front and back plates first.
  2. Fit the torso that combines this front and back plates to the lower body.
  3. If both arms are inserted one by one, the body is finished.
  4. The head is completed by turning the front pin to pop it out and inserting this pin into the hole in the rear head.
  5. Combine neck and torso
  6. Fix the loose part with adhesive.
