#custom #household I have two problems when it comes to organisation in general, and even more specifically nightstand organisation.
- I can never get organized without a specific place to put each of my things
- I tend to crowd any organizer with stuff that doesn’t belong there, leading to a mess. With my model, I aimed to solve these by creating an organizer with designated spots for each of my items, enough so that it could be used as a nightstand on its own, and without any extra room for clutter.
The things that I notice about where I, and most other people, tend to clutter the most is on flat surfaces or drawers, where it is easy to leave something and forget about it. With my design, I aimed to eradicate both. With an open to the outside, slim and modern sloping surface with perches only for designated items, unwanted junk has no place to hide!

- Back portion that while it has some room, it is not open to the front of the room, meaning clutter is less likely. This portion is to hold iPads, magazines, kindles, etc. It even has holes for charging cables!
- Specially designed book stand to keep your page marked. Just drape book over as seen in the picture and you’re good to go!
Printing: While this is a large model, many have been printed before. If you want to print, divide into two halves, and then split those halves up until you have around 8 or more flat pieces that can be easily printed. After, you can glue to assemble, and if needed, print some support materials for the back. I don’t have much experience with one, but a laser cutter might also work for this.
