Witch Hat Snappy Cat  - Prepainted 3MF for Bambu Users (Snap-Flex: All Tolerances)

The cauldron is bubbling, the potions are pouring, and this mystical kitty is up to no good.  With a twitch of its nose and a flick of its paws it weaves magical spells that defy natures laws.  

As the time slips away through a long boring day you may find that your fingers are growing quite bored.  You may reach for a widget but it doesn't quite fidget like the fun little friend in your pocket that's stored.  

So put that phone away and delightfully play with this witchy  and whiskered fun companion that can only be known by its true name alone, and that moniker is the **Witch Hat Snappy Cat**.

Witch Hat Snappy Cat is the newest playful pet on the prowl in the Snap-Flex collection.
Snappy Cat is the fourth creation in a series of Snap-Flex models by Mimetics 3D, and is available for free for a limited time.



**Snap-Flex Collection:**
This articulated fidget toy integrates the Mimetics 3D "Snap-Flex" joint. This allows Snappy Cat to both move smoothly, mimicking the fluid motion of living creatures, AND stabilize in a firm pose, providing a premium fidgeting experience. 

Each **SNAP** will resonate as a symphony of satisfaction to your ears, confirming your masterful manipulations.

**Snap-Flex Instructions:**
To Lock: Push Body Segments together
To Unlock: Pull Body Segments Apart


**Tolerance:**
To accommodate different printer settings and filaments, I’m uploading 3 different tolerance levels for Snappy Cat to ensure that you get the best fitting, most satisfying “SNAP” with each of your prints.

**Print Settings:**
0.2mm Layer Height
3 Wall Loops
3 Top Shell Layers
No Supports, Print-In-Place at 100% scale.  Going any smaller may disable the Snap-Flex joint.

These tolerances are TIGHT and you'll likely have to snap each segment a few times before it's loose enough to snap/unsnap easily. 

**Recommended Types of FIlament:**
I recommend you use regular PLA or PLA+. ABS might be even better, but I haven't tried it yet.

Silk PLA is a bit softer and may not click as nicely. I'd also be more concerned about silk PLA holding up to the wear and tear.
If you print this in resin, please let me know how it turns out. I imagine you would need a more flexible/less stiff resin for it to work appropriately.

Want to keep people from taking your candy?  Then hide it in plain sight with this Free Candy Van.  I suggest you 3D print it in white, use a little paint to add some rust here and there, and then fill it with treats knowing that nobody will take your candy, because they know better than to accept free candy from someone in a beat up old van.

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.3mm

Filaments Used:
	PLA PolyTerra Charcoal Black Transmission Distance: 0.3
	PLA PolyLite Azure Blue Transmission Distance: 3
	PLA PolyTerra Lava Red Transmission Distance: 1
	PLA PolyTerra Savannah Yellow Transmission Distance: 3.5
	PLA PolyLite White Transmission Distance: 5

Swap Instructions:
	Start with Charcoal Black
	At layer #4 (0.54mm) swap to Azure Blue
	At layer #6 (0.7mm) swap to Lava Red
	At layer #8 (0.86mm) swap to Savannah Yellow
	At layer #11 (1.1mm) swap to White for the rest.

As a bonus, you can use layer swaps to get the running blood effect, meaning that a multi-color printer is not required. (One 8mm diameter, 2mm tall circular magnet is required for this print.)

.08mm - .12mm layer height
15 - 25% infill
