**_Printing Guidelines_**
- Print solid, 2 perimeters, 0.22mm layer height

**NOTE:** The default orientation of this puzzle is to print upside-down (so any squash on the first layers doesn't affect fit). Make sure you orient correctly when playing the game! The puzzle number is embossed on the bottom side of each problem, make sure it's upright. You can use a filament swap or mark the bottom with [markers](https://amzn.to/3tLyRso) if you need to make things more clear.

Mini Planetary Compartment Container

**Mini Planetary Compartment Container**

The Mini Container is the same as the [original]( https://social.thangs.com/m/51825) but scaled down .625%. Before scaling it down I increased the clearances so they are the same as the original. 

**How it functions**
This container has three separate compartments, turning the knob on top of the container indexes through the different compartments at a 4:1 ratio. This is done with the use of a planetary gear stage on the bottom of the container.  Turning the knob drives the sun gear which causes the carrier to spin which in this case is the inner dividing cylinder. The 4:1 ratio is a result of the planetary gears rotating quicker around the larger 32 tooth ring gear verses the smaller 12 tooth sun gear.  


**Print instructions**
Prints in place, designed for a .4mm nozzle, .2mm layer heights, no supports at 100%.  

Use a 6mm hex wrench to turn the sun gear, if it’s not free after printing. Don't over torque the knob because shaft could fail.

Hey!
This is my Earth Desk Lamp.

You will need a lamp socket, and a bulb. I like to use a Multi color LED. These parts will only work with this Lamp Socket from Ebay. (it has an EU Plug)

Print Settings:
You only need to print the numbered files.
Earth: Use a 0.4 mm Nozzle! or a line height of 0.2 mm and a width of 0.4 mm.
Domes are quite hard to print. I always slow down the layers at the top to 50% print speed (at layer 670).
Use 100% infill with concentric infill, or set your wall count to something ridiculous like 40.
Any Basic white PLA will do the job just fine. I used Sunlu White PLA+ if that helps. Don't try Matte or glitter stuff, it will not work.
No supports!

Holder:
Print with supports.
