6.25 mm - Quad Offset Snaps (DS Part A)
"6.25 mm Offset Snaps" screw onto a surface and attaches to a tile, creating a 6.25 mm gap. This part also connects four tiles together.
This is a "Part A" piece, and attaches to four Part B Snaps.

Printing Guidelines:
Use 3 perimeter wall thickness, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, and no supports. Apart from that, use your printer's default settings.
The printing orientation is as provided in the file. Make sure the downloaded files are .STL. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

Am I missing something? The connection point between the two snaps is super thin? I printed a set of these mayb e 6 months ago and they were a lot thicker. The blue images look to be the correct thickness, but grey rendering is super thin (like the actual download files)
EDIT: I found them... 15mm version: https://thangs.com/designer/Multiboard/3d-model/15%20mm%20-%20Quad%20Offset%20Snaps%20%28DS%20Part%20A%29-993370
Friggin love Multiboard but it's hard to figure out wtf is up with all of these parts.
no printing supports? really? do i have to change the printing orientation?
For anyone else that sees this, all of this MB stuff comes oriented as it should be printed. Seems odd but they print without supports the correct way they load in your slicer. Hope that helps somebody else. Confusing stuff for sure!

Why does this have to be printed in two parts? It makes no sense to me. Just make it a single part like the Part B!! The only remixes that I can find are the 8mm, so I am having to shave those down in Tinkercad to make them work. I would much rather download the official pieces, though. Why is there no official one-part quad snap part A?!
The reason it is printed in two parts is so that they can both be printed on their "side" which makes the part much stronger in the direction it needs to be strong. People should not be orienting this to print wall-side-down, because then the layers are in the worst orientation for the direction of force the part will be handling.
By having it be two parts, both of them can be printed without supports
^^^ I just want to reiterate this point for people who are new to 3D printing. If your layer lines are perpendicular with the walls of the model, you can easily break those layer lines apart. Even a 2deg angle can improve the strength of your parts. If you dont like the finish from supports, learn to create a floating bridge for your parts. Not enough space here to explain it.
@Multiboard: Where is the 8mm Quad Offset Snaps (DS Part A) gone? It the "Standard" on the Multibord.io page but opens to this page here, 6.25 mm - Quad Offset Snaps (DS Part A)?
I didn't believe this didn't need supports, but I tried a pair on my stock Ender 3 V2. Everything ok. I didn't need to change the orientation. :D

What am i missing? i printed both part A 1 & 2 and they are the same.
They fit into one another. Take a look at the centers... Not sure why they made it to be 2 pieces and not just one.
Which one is supposed to go on top of which?
I just printed my first set and I believe the one with raised center goes on top of the one with the center that is flush to the rest of the backside.
