Hextraction Board for Small Build Plates (at least 148mmx153mm)
Print a Hextraction board on your Prusa Mini+ or other small printer! Print two of the A sections and two of the B sections to replace the standard 5-15 and 5-7 plates. Five of the original clips are needed, as well as two of the slightly modified clip included here.
I wanted to print Hextraction, but I found that the included board sections were much too large for my Prusa Mini+'s print bed. Since Zack made the original Fusion 360 files available, I was able to create 7 segment and 4 segment sections that fit together to create the original board. To ensure strength between the parts, I also created tweaked clips with “tabs” on both sides to fasten pieces on a side (as opposed to the original clips, which are designed for only top/bottom fastening).
Check out the images to see how things fit together and what I believe are the optimal clip locations. The custom clips are placed horizontally between the 7 segment and 4 segment pieces, and the original clips are placed on the 5 horizontal borders between the top and bottom sections.
Make sure your board notches are aligned before you glue!
Finally, check out Hextraction at https://www.playhextraction.com!

Thank you so much! I wanted to print the hextractions board on my Ender 3 but the 5-15 plate was barely too big to print.
same
why does the A part not have the side corner pieces in each hexagon to help the tiles fit in my slicer
nvm the parts were hidden under the plate
