When I saw this fractal vice by Teaching Tech I couldn't resist making it my go-to electronics vice! I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it has been a game changer.
Parts List:
- Soldering helping hands set with LED magnifying light
- 1x USB Female end.
- 4x M3x20 Socket head screws
I also added a simple LED control housing for a cable-managed solution. This can still be powered by any 5v wall plug, as the cable is passed to a female USB A out.
To build, go over to Teaching Tech's original submission, download their files, and just replace the "holder" files with mine.
NOTE: These are M14 x 1.5 threads. I'd suggest printing at .12 or better to ensure those threads come out nice and crisp.
