Screen mount added 2/20/22.

I didn't like the control box on the zero 2.0. I figured if changing the box may as well upgrade the board as well. Designed this rear mounted electronics box for the SKR Mini E3 v3. I have saved versions for the previous versions of the SKR Mini E3/Creality boards. Mounts to the 4040 extrusion behind the Z motor. You will need to tap the extrusion to M5 to bolt this on.

PLEASE NOTE the difference between board versions is a 3mm extension of the board on the side of the sd card and usb port. So, while you can use the V3 box with an older board (ports are just 3mm recessed), the V3 board will not fit in the box for the previous boards.

There are 4 versions of the box, 2 versions of the screen mount, and the door is universal.

MZ_SKR_E3_INSERTS - Box for SKR Mini E3 v1.2/2.0 and Creality boards with holes for M2.5 threaded inserts.

MZ_SKR_E3_M3 - Box for SKR Mini E3 v1.2/2.0 and Creality boards with holes for M3 screws.

MZ_SKR_E3_V3_INSERTS - Box for SKR Mini E3 v3.0 with holes for M2.5 threaded inserts

MZ_SKR_E3_V3_M3 - Box for SKR Mini E3 v3.0 with holes for M3 screws.

MZ_SCREEN_INSERTS - Screen mount with holes sized for M2.5 threaded inserts.

MZ_SCREEN_M3 - Screen mount with holes for M3 screws.

Hinges are sized for M3 screws/nuts, or small zip ties as seen in my photos. These files are free to use as you wish, free of any restrictive licenses. If you remix, I only ask you credit my original design.
