This adapter connects two segments of 2020 extruded aluminum at 90 deg to a 3/4" PVC pipe connection piece allowing for the creation of a modular framework that can further be developed into an remote-controlled, autonomous, structural frame, the list goes on and on ....

** Notes:

-File needs to be sliced for your printer (I used a .4 nozzle, and most default settings, except: Tree supports for 65% overhang) -I printed "upside down" (with the PVC connection end against the bed), having the supports land in that area is easier, since the tolerances are greater; the other areas should maintain as close to dims as possible). -Used 5mm button heads. -"V" or "T" Slot nuts depending on your project. -The extruded aluminum should be 5M tapped through the end (center hole, middle of cross-section) to whatever length of bolt you will be using.

** If creating a mechanical connection to the PVC utilizing the hole array:

-Holes are for a M4 x 40mm, with washers and two nuts (one to lock); one set per adapter. -Hole placement jig here: (Pat. Pend.) : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7359667 -Holes need to be drilled in the PVC 180 degrees relatlive to eachother on a 90 degree tangent 6.5mm from 3/4" PVC connector end (on pvc connector, not adapter).
