As the title suggests, this is a direct replacement for the speaker bracket for the front scion XB speakers.

To use this bracket, you will have drill out the rivets holding in the old speaker assembly, and use m5 screws with nuts to mount. It's a little awkward to hold the nut inside the door while trying to put the screw in from outside, I recommend using a socket wrench to hold the nut. I also recommend putting something soft in between the plastic frame and the metal of the door to reduce vibration noise. I used little foam strips, but rubber or thick fabric should work too.

This design works well and is (relatively) easy to remove if needed. If you would like to change the model in any way, feel free to download the solidworks file.

Potential future changes:

1. Delete the rear hood to make the install less annoying (I don't think it makes any acoustic difference, i just thought it looked cooler...).

2. Add front facing hood/funnel to reduce sound leakage, and help more sound-waves make into the cabin (I think that should help?)
